Insomniac. In 2001 I published a collection of short stories, VELOCITY, at Curious Rooms (Norwalk CT). A notice in the Southeast Review commented: "McNally showcases his uncanny ability to describe unique characters uniquely. He has a keen eye for minute, telling details of character, and an ear for language that enables him to succinctly get right at the heart of a character."
Tsipi Keller wrote the work is "an absolutely must read .... McNally will be read long after all of us are gone." My poem "Restocking the Time Warehouse," printed in THE ICONOCLAST, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2000. On the basis of my full-length satire DANCE WITHOUT MUSIC, I was selected as a finalist in the playwriting competition of the Massachusetts Council on the Arts. Excerpt from as yet unpublished novel in February 2009 (i.e., 2009:02) edition of the online literary journal elimae. Screenplays currently being shopped--The D Train, The Murder Portfolio.

Yes, back in the days before rationality itself went into the shredder. That's the fundamental question: Is the U.$. sane?
